We participate in various associations at both the local and national level; these associations provide us with valuable connections upon which our success has been built. National Association of Home Builders
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association with the broad mission of enhancing the climate for housing, homeownership and the residential building industry. A federation of more than 800 state and local associations, NAHB represents more than 140,000 members nationwide. About one-third of NAHB’s members are home builders and/or remodelers. The others are associates working in closely related specialties such as sales and marketing, housing finance, and manufacturing or supplying building materials.
The Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorehead
The HBA of F-M offers a variety of services and benefits to its members. By participating in the association, members can enhance their business opportunities and gain a competitive edge by staying exposed to the most current state liscencing requirements, marketing, technical, legislative, legal, tax, management, office, building codes, computers, health and safety.
Home Builders Care Foundation
Home Builders Care of Fargo-Moorhead Foundation is the charitable arm of the Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead. The Foundation is dedicated to showing that home builders care about the community by awarding scholarships to local students interested in the construction trades and working on projects that support housing in the area.
North Dakota Association of Builders
The NDAB works closely with state legislators and our Congressional delegation in Washington to promote and protect the building industry and its interests. The NDAB also has a political action committee (NDAB-PAC), a non-partisan committee providing support for candidates who are friends of the building industry.
Fargo-Moorhead Builders Exchange
Organized in 1905, the founders of the Fargo-Moorhead Builders and Traders Exchange, Inc (FMBX) had wanted to way to improve communications among the many builders and traders that made up the building industry in the area. In 1960, the FMBX was incorporated and became a not-for-profit, member-only organization. The FMBX continues to offer builders and contractors extremely cutting edge and valuable tools to assist in the bidding process.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Red River Drywall & Decorting participated in the construction of both "The Bliven Family" extreme makeover in 2006 and "The Grommesh Family" in 2010. The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition helps families that have faced hardships by completely rebuiliding their homes while they are sent away on a vacation for one week.
Habitat for Humanity
A nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry that builds with people in need regardless of race or religion, they welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds. Habitat has more than 1,400 local affiliates in the United States and more than 70 national organizations around the world. Together, they have helped more than 1 million families — representing 5 million people — improve their living conditions since their founding in 1976.
